Death in the Afternoon

A decadent blend of absinthe and sparkling wine, famously favoured by Hemingway. 

Ingredients:

. 25ml Local Absinthe 60%

. 15ml sugar syrup

. 90ml champagne or dry sparkling wine

Method:

  1. Add the absinthe and sugar syrup to a chilled Champagne flute.
  2. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Slowly top with Champagne or sparkling wine.
