Absinthe Frappé

Absinthe Frappé

A cooling refresher of absinthe, mint and crushed ice. 

Ingredients: 

. 45ml Local Absinthe 60%

. 20ml Simple Syrup

. Soda water

. 6 mint leaves, plus extra for garnishing

Method:

  1. Add the mint leaves and simple syrup to a shaker and gently muddle to release the oils. . 
  2. Add the absinthe and plenty of ice. 
  3. Shake briefly until chilled.  
  4. Strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. 
  5. Top with soda water and stir gently. 
  6. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.
